The British Road Sign Project

Last year the Design Museum celebrated the 50th anniversary of the British road signage system with a special exhibition. To mark this occasion, Made North brought together leading designers and artists to create their own reinterpretations of the circle, triangle and square signs. More than thirty of these new signs were displayed in the Design Museum’s Tank and Riverside Hall, including work by Sir Peter Blake, Sir Terence Conran, Sir Kenneth Grange, Neville Brody and Julian Opie.
